Using simple digital technology, creating and installing your images into FotoFrame is incredibly easy. You can do it at home using your digital camera, a simple inkjet printer and transparent paper.

• Follow your digital camera instructions to download your image from your camera to your computer.
• Use transparent paper/transparency film designed for or labeled for color LaserJet printing. This type of transparent paper has a rough feel to it. [Type E transparencies for overhead projectors are smooth and will NOT hold the ink. Do not use.]

“Printing Preferences”

1. Paper/Quality window: Under paper options choose “8 ½ x 11” for paper size; “transparency film” for paper type; and “maximum dpi” or “highest” for print quality.
2. Effect window: Under resizing options choose the percentage of normal size that will translate to either 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 depending on which fixture you purchased. [SMALL FIXTURE (9 X 9) takes a 5 x 7 photo. LARGE FIXTURE (13 X 13) takes an 8 x 10 photo.]
   FOR EXAMPLE: If the image is at approximately 8 ½ x 11 in size, like the paper size you’ll be printing on, you need to resize the image as such - choose 60% of normal size to print 5 x 7 or choose 95% of normal size to print 8 x 10. This will not size the image perfectly but will be as close as possible to the picture size you want.
3. After choosing the appropriate printing preference, load the transparent paper into your printer and print.
4. Trim the printed transparency to the appropriate size and install in your new FotoFrame fixture.
