HAND FORGED IN VERMONT

They first fired up the Forge in a drafty old barn in the town of Hubbardton in 1974. They set out to master the art of black-smithing, mentored by their first "board of directors" - the few remaining craftsman of an industry gone by. They scavenged through New England gathering rusting anvils, trip hammers, swage blocks and other discarded tools of the trade.

Today as the country’s oldest contemporary commercial forge—and one the few lighting companies STILL MANUFACTURING IN THE U.S. –Hubbardton Forge is committed to creating distinctive, high-quality wrought-iron lighting and accessories.
